Tuuli ( Not Fancy Beyond The Limit ) is a young Yakutian Laika who arrived at our home in the summer of 2026. She joined Thémis and our pack, bringing with her a unique personality and great promise for the future. Her arrival was the result of careful consideration. Beyond her pedigree, it was primarily her type, temperament, and working potential that motivated my choice. With Tuuli, the goal wasn't simply to welcome another dog, but to continue building, gradually, a project centered around Nordic dogs capable of being as beautiful as they are functional: balanced, hardy, willing dogs, truly suited to the work for which they were bred. Since her arrival, Tuuli has confirmed, more and more each day, what I had glimpsed in her. She is a curious, willing young dog, very enthusiastic about what is offered to her, and naturally close to people. She already shows a great desire to move forward and work, while also being able to regain her composure once the activity is finished.
Its common name, Tuuli , means "wind" in Finnish. And the coincidence is particularly charming with Fire on Fire: tuli , with a single u , means "fire." Wind and fire, two almost identical words for a name that seems to have found its place all on its own.
At her age, it's far too early to predict the dog she'll become. For now, Tuuli is growing up, discovering life with the pack, and quietly building the foundations of her future. Sled dog work will naturally be part of her journey, respecting her physical and mental development. She'll also experience dog shows and, later, if her development allows, racing and various working trials. But before the miles, the show rings, the titles, or any potential breeding projects, Tuuli is first and foremost a member of our family . Her well-being, her balance, and her joy in sharing all these adventures with us will always remain our top priorities. Her story with Fire on Fire has already begun. And something tells me this little breeze is about to blow strong.
