Thumbelina is much more than just a show dog: she is my starting point, my first Samoyed, and the one who gave rise to the “Fire on Fire” kennel name. Through her, I discovered the world of the Samoyed in all its richness: the beauty of dog shows, the intensity of sled work, and above all, the unconditional love of a dog deeply bonded to her human. Her show career was brilliant, crowned with numerous titles in Europe and internationally. But beyond the show rings, Thumby is also an accomplished working dog, with several seasons of sledding under her belt.
Balanced, cheerful, and close to people, she embodies the Samoyed in every way: beauty, endurance, and a loyal heart. She remains the founding flame, the gentle yet steadfast fire that illuminates my entire pack.
